This is the #1 Reason ‌Network Marketers Fail

Many people will admit that the concept of network marketing intrigues them. 

But many have a misconception about the potential in this industry or a misunderstanding of what it takes to be successful…and possibly both.

Unfortunately, there are leaders within the network marketing industry who have polluted our platform with false claims and “get rich quick” deceptions.

This kind of false perception and deceit makes me want to gag on my burrito and break out into a blocking frenzy on Facebook. 

It sends a message that success in our industry will come quickly and require minimal effort. THAT is such a load of crap.

When people join this industry, I always find it fascinating to hear them say, “I will give it two months to see if I can make a go at it.” 

Two freakin’ months??? Seriously. I don’t know about you, but I am not aware of any business that has made a significant amount of money in the first two years… let alone the first two months.

Many will dabble in this industry, but few allow themselves a genuine opportunity to experience success. 

Why do network marketers fail?

The #1 reason network marketers fail is because they haven’t made a non-negotiable commitment to themselves and their business. 

They enter ‌the industry with an employee mindset instead of a business owner mentality.

There are a lot of exceptional qualities in the multi-level marketing industry. Low start-up cost is at the top of the list. 

Minimal investment puts this opportunity on a level playing field for those willing to make a long-term commitment. 

Committing for the long haul is essential for success. But it is just as important to consider the following: 

Is the company a good fit for you?

Do they offer a valuable product(s)?

Is it a product you are eager to be a part of and can be genuinely passionate about? 

If you can shout a hearty “Heck yeah” to all the above and will commit yourself to the grit and grind game, then let me introduce you to success. 

It burdens my heart to watch someone wave their red flag or throw in the towel too soon. It’s as if they planned for failure before they even began.  

Consider what happens to a can of soda when it freezes. You can’t see the pressure gradually build, but you know what will eventually happen if the conditions are consistent… it will freakin’ explode. 

We can say the same about your business. You probably won’t be able to see the fruits of your labor at first. But just like the soda can, if you will commit and be consistent, you will gain momentum… and your business will explode. 

If you truly understand how the multi-level marketing industry works, then you know that residual income doesn’t come right away. 

Residual income is what will eventually replace your current income (IF that’s your desire), but regardless of what the network marketing noise makers claim, it ain’t happenin’ overnight.

When you review the comp plan of a particular company, note the ways they pay out commission. 

More than likely, there will be both weekly and monthly payouts for new enrollments, as well as bonus earning opportunities.

Remember, this is NOT a “get rich quick” side hustle, so don’t quit your day job or start packing your bags for Barbados… Well, not yet, anyway. 

These payouts will serve as supplemental income as you build your business toward your residual income goal.

It doesn’t matter what type of business you are planning to start… a yoga or pilates gym, a restaurant, an ecommerce store, direct sales, etc… The key to success for any entrepreneur is committing for a minimum of two years as you work toward realizing the income level you desire.
